How we do it

Networking

Networking is vital to career growth and increases the chance to make important contacts. Its is about building long-term business relationships that are beneficial to both parties.

When networking, you meet and get to know people who not only offer career advice or guidance, but can help expand your effectiveness in your organisation.

Networking creates the right connections with the right people and fosters those relationships regularly.

In our industry good people are going to be more and more important as the labour pool becomes smaller and companies continue to struggle to recruit in all areas.

Have you known of people who you worked with or who were brilliant but who left the industry as they didn’t feel it was right for them?

Our aim is to support those coming into and currently working within the industry to realise their full potential, apply for that promotion, organise that event – but most importantly, stay in roofing.

We aim to create opportunities to meet and connect with some of the amazing people within the industry and recognise the possibilities that exist to ensure they not only progress their careers but add the best value to the organisations, and to the industry as a whole.

Collaboration

Our ethos  is all about collaboration sharing, not taking with a likeminded group of people. It is about forming trust and helping one another toward goals.

Regularly engagement with the group ensures we support with finding opportunities to assist them, which in turn strengthen the relationships. By doing this, members sow the seeds for reciprocal assistance when others need help to achieve their goals.

Sharing challenges, experiences or goals with others allows for an exchange of ideas or insight. When others offer input it may result in an influx of new perspectives not considered before.

A network becomes a pool of resources you can turn to to solve problems or exchange ideas. Collaboration is a great opportunity to learn about the business techniques of your peers and stay abreast of the latest industry developments.
A wide network of informed, interconnected contacts means broader access to new and valuable information.
