Visit to BRE

Collaboration is so important in our industry and Raise the Roof were delighted to be invited by BRE recently to visit their fascinating facilities and learn more about what they do and how they do it.

“On the 18th of March I had the pleasure of welcoming Raise the Roof to BRE.
Raise the roof is a pioneering group operating within the roofing industry supporting and empowering women in the roofing industry. The visit marked an exciting opportunity to share knowledge, inspire change, network, and strengthen inclusivity within the sector.

During the day, the group explored BRE’s testing and certification capabilities for products within the roofing industry. They engaged in insightful discussions with BRE’s testing experts, watched practical demonstrations, and gained a deeper understanding of how BRE is shaping the future of the built environment for the roofing industry.

The visit reinforced the importance of breaking down barriers for women in construction, a mission at the heart of Raise the Roof as well as diversity, inspiration and training. As one attendee commented “It was a fantastic day of learning, networking, and building connections”
